We met and you noticed me. I have never known what it is like to be noticed and was curious. We didn’t know each other, it was fun, exciting even. We held hands, we walked the walk and we knew this was to nowhere. This is scenario one.

Our first embrace may have been innocent we may have not desired anything from one another, but life always takes unexpected turns; unexpected, undesirable turns.I felt the need to protect you and that made us friends somehow. We began to understand each other you laughed at things I said, I giggled at the jokes you attempted, it was perfect. I was falling for you, hard. This is scenario two.

Both scenarios ended one way, I was the interim girl. I took your mind of troubles while you sorted your life out. Now that you’re done I’m discarded, left to be forgotten, lonely and haunted with memories.
